How we conserve resources
Acting sensibly today. In everything we do, we have the environment and future generations in mind. For us at Amsler & Frey, this is a matter of course. Here are some of our measures:
Material separation
We separate all our material waste and dispose of it separately. Where possible, the materials are recycled and processed into new products.
Thermoplastics made from up to 100% recycled material
We develop new plastic solutions with our suppliers, continuously test alternative plastic materials (e.g. made from used fishing nets or up to 100% recycled material) and maximise the conservation of resources.
Production with electricity from our own PV system
Our entire 5,500 m2 roof is equipped with a brand-new photovoltaic system, which supplies the energy for our lathes and milling machines.
Resource consumption
Less is more: our standardised and certified processes reduce so-called start-up parts and minimise the reject rate. As a customer, you benefit from cost savings and we protect the environment at the same time.
E-mobility
Several fast-charging stations for electric cars are available for employees, our customers and external users.
Energy from machine waste heat
We use the waste heat from our machinery to heat our production hall in winter. This allows us to save heating energy and reduce costs at the same time.
